Since the idea was born, many people have been very supportive. For
the brilliant logo and corporate design, I would like to especially
thank Zaid Omar, my brother and part of Milk Design
in Kuala Lumpur. The call card has received much praise here in Europe.
I have used the logo for all our presentations and correspondences.
Makes everything look good.
We
brainstormed various aspects - playfulness versus clean design for
example. Another important element was the tagline - creative wear
versus interactive wear. One of my desires was not to have the name of
the city, but to go a step further with locality and use the name of our
area as the creative centre for maiin-maiin. The line "created in
Prenzlauer Berg" has been disputed, but as I have had very positive
feedback as well, we have decided to keep it.
Below are
the set of six colours used for cards, letterheads and all other media.
We love the fact that we have such a choice of colours, at the same
time find it funny asking people which one they would like. Some have
even taken two just for the sake of the colours. It is very interactive,
triggering conversation whilst giving your info.
Zaid
came up with lots of great stuff for our clothes tags, labels and
stationary, which we hope we will be able to use in the future.
